I have always been a big fan of Perfect World, till the point that it was my dream company to work in when I first stepped into the MMO industry given its self-development and self-publish business model. But after playing the latest Wolf race in Forsaken World China, I firmly believe the development team has slacked way too much over the year. You see, the Wolf race is just the Kindred race re-skinned, with 2 fluffy ears. I was expecting more given that the male is restricted to the Assassin class, while the female can only play as a Priest. How about an exclusive Berserker class?The wolf transformation, lasting 15 seconds, is even more absurd. Playing as a female wolf, the transformed skin and combat looks horrid and to some extent, an exact copy of another similar race in another of Perfect World’s game. Given that this is the first new race since Forsaken World launched, I was hoping for a grander entrance. The town was dull, and the whole journey in the Wolf race starting area lasted a mere 40 minutes, doing some rather boring quests. Totally uninspired work despite the vast amount of new content for the higher levels.
