To celebrate Blade & Soul’s 100th day since going commercial, NCsoft is hosting a slew of events. Other than the 7 Waves update and new class teaser, Art Director Hyung-Tae Kim was also on deck to give a presentation on the upgraded character customization system. Note: All these are free, since all updates are included in the monthly subscription payment.
As you can see from the presentation video, players will probably now need to spend more than 2 hours at the creation screen… Other than being able to compare your body build (height etc) with other races’, there are now even more options to choose from. In the midst of creation, screenshots can now be taken and shared online immediately. Preview videos of how the character will look like in-game will also be shown, so don’t be hasty in “confirming” your character!
According to reports, high level characters will also be able to re-model themselves (plastic surgery), although I am not sure if it is a one-time thing and which level will it be activated.
Not just these, there will now be 80 specialized costume slots, with more costumes introduced to make players go heywire while choosing which to wear when in different areas… Oh man =___=”’ All these and more will be added to the Korean server next month!
