According to the latest interview by ThisIsGame with Blade & Soul’s development team, the game’s 7th class is expected to make its appearance come late September or October. The lead designer and planner did not mention which class, but it is expected to be the long-rumored Gunner.
The upcoming September update will see the introduction of Blood Harbor (loosely translated), the end-game level 45 instance dungeon. It will be host to 4 bosses, each with around 10 minions to defeat before facing them, and the whole content is said to take up 2 hours of players’ time.
Of course, there will be new open area maps as well, loosely translated as “White Mountain Range”. The current dungeons now will feature a 6-man easy mode to allow easier access for the masses.
In mid-September, Blade & Soul will be seeing PvP updates and adjustments to encourage more players to take part. There will be no max level cap increment in September in order to focus on class balancing and fine tuning (may happen in October).
A possible single-player dungeon is also in sights, although this will purely be a mode for players to experience rather than carry a full storyline.
