Although NetEase is the number 2 online gaming company in China, it was not able to break into overseas market in its 15 years of existence, quite similar to number 1 Tencent Games. Or perhaps they did not even both about it. Apparently, that is going to change with its upcoming self-developed title, codename Game-X. Nothing is known about the title now, with a shadow floating on the teaser page martial arts-like. But the first few screenshots of the game tells a different story.
You can see heavy metal element, bordering on a steampunk theme while retaining a Western-style architecture design. The big reveal is happening on 30th March, which is next week, and NetEase teased the game will be going global. Check back soon for details!
