Announced back in May earlier this year, Shadow Company: The Mercenary War is one of CJ Entertainment & Media’s many new online shooter titles scheduled to be released over the next few months. The developer of the game, Doobic Game Studios, is known in the English market for its earlier product, Combat Arms.
Finding Team A vs Team B getting stale in most shooters? Well, the unique part of Shadow Company will be having 4 different teams (Battle Squad mode) going against each other in the PvP maps. The 4 different outfits are shown below.
Shadow Company is developed using the Unreal 3 Engine, hence the graphics will be made as realistic as possible. The game will go into its first limited test phase in Korea from the 20th to 23rd later this month. with only those over the age of 15 able to register for entry. I was told the game will be reaching English shores sooner or later, but we shall see.
