TERA Japan went into the Open Beta phase yesterday and according to the numbers revealed, it was a resounding success. The highest number of players recorded stands at 48,624 on Open Beta day. 3 emergency servers (see below), 2 PK and 1 non-PK, had to be added to accommodate the numbers.
For now, TERA Japan has a total of 10 servers, 7 non-PK and 3 PK. However, fears from industry watchers still stand once the game goes commercial (link).
