Korean MMO giant, Nexon, has announced acquiring 20% of developer Eyasoft’s stocks. Eyasoft is well-known for various of it online game titles, including Mo Xiang Online (or Titan Online), Luna Online, Legend of Edda and Iris Online. Earlier in this year, Eyasoft stopped all its game services in Korea citing a “temporary break” without affecting the English services of its games.

Eyasoft, which started out brightly, is believed to have make huge losses last year after a drastic drop in sales figures. The Korean services for Luna Online, Legend of Edda and Iris Online will officially be closed on 1st June next month, leading to a possible situation where the English services will not be getting anymore content updates.
The injection of cash by Nexon will help the company continue to develop their games. Nexon will also acquire the rights for 2 of Eyasoft’s upcoming games which are still in development, one being a martial arts MMO and the other a war-based MMO based on ancient Korea.
