Infinite Worlds Online is a MMORPG current still in the development phase, created by China-based MMO studio Quyou Game. I don’t normally post about foreign games which don’t catch my eyes, but Infinite Worlds’ concept is very interesting.
Like the game’s title suggests, it consists of many different in-game Worlds, each providing the game with a different character class.
So far, 4 worlds are announced. The eastern martial arts realm with the swordsman class, the futuristic realm with the mecha class, the western dragon city realm with the sorcerer class and finally, the apocalypse realm with the trooper class.
In case you are wondering, the futuristic realm is apparently inspired by Starcraft while the apocalypse realm is inspired by the Fallout series of games. As you can see below, each class will have 2 genders available, with the mecha class being separated into armored mode or full power mode on the right.
Players will start off in their individual worlds, but across the whole storyline, they will be able to visit other realms. Yes, martial arts Vs big mech robots! Fireballs Vs machine guns! These will all happen in Infinite Worlds.
The various different storylines are also based on several famous Chinese novels, edited especially for the game with the authors’ permissions. As the game is still undergoing development, these are all the important news available so far.
