Korean source – Korean MMO giant, CJ Entertainment & Media (CJ E&M), recently released a schedule of over 20 games which will be published in the upcoming months and 2012. Today, the company dropped a big news again by announcing that it has gotten the publishing rights for Trion World’s maiden MMORPG, RIFT. There are no news now as to how the business model will be, seeing how Warhammer Online folded and Age of Conan switching to a Free to Play (F2P) model.
“I personally enjoy playing RIFT and am glad to introduce it to Korean gamers. We will make it the best game in Korea where the most enhanced country for the online games,” said Hoon NamGoong the CEO of CJ E&M.
“We are glad that the largest media group CJ E&M publishes our RIFT. Since the game is inherently designed at the level of Korean gamers, our goal is to be recognized by Korean gamers,” said Lars Buttler the CEO of Trion World.
