This is kind of an awesome news for Forsaken World players. Well, mounted battle will be arriving in the China server on 27th April, with the update loosely translated and edited (by me) as… Descend of the Gods. There is an actual storyline behind this expansion, but I am too lazy to translate, and it will most probably be changed in the North American server as well.
The mounted battle system has been seen in quite a few MMORPGs, but it is no doubt a proof that Perfect World is diligently adding new content to the game regularly. Mounted battle will still start at level 60 (updated info here), when players get their mounts the “normal” way, and skills, heals and spells etc can all apparently be used while mounted. And yes, it is available for both PvP and PvE.
Along with the mounted battle feature, there will be a new level cap (not revealed), new maps, monsters, equipments, instances and pet system guide. A new Tutor-Disciple system will also be implemented, where veterans can guide newbies and both will get to acquire various rewards.With all these systems added. I am half sure an Aion-style aerial combat will be next 🙂
