Well, I just thought I should share this information with the folks since this is my “in” game now. DC Universe Online is having a promo current;y, where players can choose the option for pay USD29.99 for every 3 months of gameplay. Do note that this promo ends on 1st March.
The good thing? It is much cheaper than your regular monthly subscription. The bad thing? Well, you are paying for 3 months’ worth of gameplay, so if you intend to quit midway, most would see it as money lost. But with the upcoming updates, I would say the game is going in the right direction for a P2P MMO. I have uploaded some simple gameplay videos over at my YouTube page, so have a look! So, this is my current character in the game, just hit level 30 and going for Duos (2-man instances) to get geared up for bigger instances such as Raids. Even my skeptical brother who has never played a P2P MMO made this his first one 😀
