Well, if you have followed my blog, you would have read about the game, Age of Titan. A new MMORPG under Chinese MMO company, I Got Game (IGG), the prior posters all spotted an English logo, leading to speculations that the English version will come first. Wish denied! The official Chinese website of the game was revealed recently, and let’s add on the the information I had already posted.
First, the 3 main races are confirmed – Human, Titan and Elf. And yes, only the Human race will support both genders, while Titan is locked at male only and Elf female only. The main page containing the 4 characters standing with some fidgeting action kind of reminds me of… Diablo III’s own character page… Hmn…
There are 4 classes previewed – Berserker, Marksman, Elementalist and Defiler. Gosh, no healer class! Berserker uses the Great Sword, Marksman uses bows or guns, Elementalist uses a staff while the Defiler (a debuffing class) uses the Soul Container, something similar to orbs. There is no limit to which classes each race can choose.
Do read my previous posts about the game’s storyline, as it spans several continents, civilizations, myths and legends. Below are some artwork for some of the more famous NPCs which can be found in the game. Starting from left to right – Io, Epaphus, Hephaestus, Sigurd, Thebes and Brynhild.
The Chinese server is expected to see beta commencing by Q2 2011, while there is currently no news about the English server, although screenshots with an English UI was posted previously (see below or here). This looks like a really good game, no offence, compared to IGG’s other offerings currently in its English portal.
