Korean online gaming giant, Nexon Corporation, has just announced that it will be introducing several “new” classes to Dungeon Fighter Online at a special exhibition event for the game. The “new” classes are actually the male counterpart for the Fighter class, including male versions of Nen Master, Street Fighter, Grappler and Striker. The Nen Master and Street Fighter will be patched into the Korean server on 16th December, while Grappler and Striker will make their appearance later in to the Winter season. Apparently, the people at Neople Studios were joking that they are going to challenge Wizet’s MapleStory user record of 400,000 when the Big Bang update hit.
The classes and skills are about the same as the female counterpart’s, which you can find here, so here are some videos from the rather extravagant event. Lucky North American and Canada players, the rest of the world (except some Asian countries) are still waiting for their own versions to materialize…
Anyway, a tiny bit more information, new players to the game will be presented with a totally new tutorial feature in the Korean server on 16th Dec, roughly called the “Improved User Experience Update”. The new tutorial UI and improved gameplay at lower levels will aid players to progress in the game more smoothly (I guess it is for them to catch up to the main community’s level). There will also be new tool tips and shortcut keys added.
