In the latest post on the official Chinese website, several thoughts from the developers based on answering the players’ forum and email queries were featured. In particular, it was revealed that mounted warfare has been listed by the development team as one of the features to be added into Forsaken World in the near future. After scouring through the forums for more information, let’s take a look at what other spoilers were given (not all questions were translated)!
Player: The current mount system is still inadequate, for example, there is no couple mount or a mount for carrying multiple players.
Developer: As the mount system in Forsaken World progresses, both the above suggestions have actually made it to our plans for the future. Also, mounted warfare will be included in upcoming developments. Before long, players will be able to fully enjoy an all-rounded mount system in the game.
Player: Please add in swimming movements for pets. They sink once characters are swimming in deeper areas.
Developer: As of this reply, this request (pets’ swimming movements) have been patched into the live servers.
Player: Can you please tweak the Assassin class’s damage and critical rate?
Developer: After analyzing, we have come to an agreement that the Assassin class is indeed underpowered. We will be adjusting the class’s bonuses etc and continue to monitor the situation as we patch the game.
Player: Identification scrolls used to identify items are too rare and hard to obtain.
Developer: We have noticed this problem, and during the patch on 28th September, we have make it possible for players to join in the Fishing Competition without any restrictions. Upon accumulating enough points, players will get the scroll as a reward.
Player: The stall setups now looks too dull!
Developer: We have took notice of that as well and we are currently designing more “looks” when players setup their stalls! We will be designing the looks based on the features of each race, so do look forward to them!
Player: Please release more PvP content, especially for massive PvP battles.
Developer: For now, we have opened a invite-only PvP function between guilds. Once a guild accepts, their members will be permanently at war with each other even in PvE maps (I guess there is a truce function). In the near future, PvP content like the Floating Guildbase Wars and a Coliseum-styled PvP feature will be added. There will be more to come, so stay tuned!
Player: Please make Mount Riding a skill instead of occupying a slot in players’ inventory.
Developer: We have took notice of this issue, and as the number of mounts and gathering materials etc increase, players’ inventory spaces have certainly taken a hit. We have already submitted this idea, along with several others to maximize players’ inventory, to the relevant departments for evaluation.
Player: Please setup a permanent area where setting up of stalls is restricted to. This will prevent Freedom Harbor from getting overcrowded.
Developer: We will continue to develop all the major cities in the game to prevent any congestion, and this suggestion of a “restricted player stall area” will be placed into our blueprint for future development.
Player: Please add in a system where players can only gather materials successfully after answering anti-bot question. And also, please make it that only level 20 players can learn level 2 gathering skills.
Developer: In order to prevent bots, we have already added in the mentioned anti-bot feature. We have changed the requirements for learning gathering skills, low level players now will not be able to gather high-grade materials anymore.
Player: Compared to other classes, the Vampire class’s Cross weapon is always behind their backs. Please make some attacking animations for the class.
Developer: After many players feedback to us with regards to this issue, we are pleased to reveal that in future skill updates (meaning the new high level ones), animations where Vampires utilizing the Cross will be made possible.
Player: When mousing over items in players’ stalls, please make it possible for a comparison window between what the player is wearing and the stall item to appear.
Developer: This function will be added into the live servers soon.
