If you have not heard, Continent of the Ninth, along with other NHN Games, have been bought over by Webzen a few months back. Not long after releasing the 4th continent, the game has added yet another system – the Deathmatch System. In this new feature, players will be pitted against each other in the PvP Arena, with 2 teams and 8 players each. Another feature is the new Relay PvP System. It will still be 8 vs 8, but will start of with 1 vs 1 initially. Defeated players will be replaced by their teammates until the last man standing wins it for his or her team. Spectators will also be allowed to watch the various PvP battles.
With Webzen expanding its list of games after buying over NHN Games and looking to reach out to global audience, don’t be too surprised to see C9 English being announced by the company next year.
