Well, even though some websites reported this news earlier, there weren’t exactly any figures. It has been confirmed that Gameforge, which only dabled mostly in browser-games till recently, has bought a 60% stake in Frogster Interactive, which essentially makes Gameforge the new owner. For those who not know, Frogster Interactive is the publisher for RUnes of Magic (RoM was actually developed in Taiwan). The company recently gained the rights to Mythos Europe and perhaps one of the biggest deals ever, the rights for TERA Europe.
For more of this news, head on to the official announcement by Gameforge.
Anyway, I’m bored, here’s a fake merger of logos between the 2 companies. Gamefrog does sound nice though.
