On the 18th of May, just yesterday, Webzen Korea organized a press conference to roll out what the company’s short term and long term plans. If you have forgotten, Webzen went silent and radar for quite some time back then due to bad finances, and just a few months back emerged from isolation and begun its reboot. Webzen has also recently bought NHN Games. After the purchase, Webzen has now become the 3rd largest MMO company in Korea, after Nexon (1st) and NCsoft (2nd).
While some numbers were being rattled out, which I am going to skip, Webzen has confirmed that more than 12 MMO titles are currently being developed by the company. Other than the ones listed in the link above, projects under development include the once-dead Parfait Station, MU 2, the mysterious T-Project and the 3 kingdoms inspired Ikkitousen Online, also known as Kingdom of Warriors (see poster below). Note that the game has undergone re-development despite being an almost finished product almost 2 years ago.
