The final battle against the Black Mage is set to begin this summer for MapleStory Korea, as Nexon announced at a media event this weekend that the annual summer update is titled MapleStory: Black Mage! As usual, this mega update will be split into several patch dates. To prepare for the battle against the Black Mage, heroes are gathered to form the Maple Alliances, where players can access new missions, alliance ranks, and many more! We think that all playable classes from MapleStory are shown in the awesome trailer below.
In order to fight the Black Mage, all classes are now armed with new 5th job skills (see the game trailer below)! Moreover, the experience requirement between level 200 and 220 has been decreased by 25% to get more players ready for the challenge ahead. Many other adjustments have been made as well for lower level content in order to allow players to level up faster.
