Despite being supported by an anime series and its popular arcade game series in Japan, Gunslinger Stratos: Reloaded unfortunately will be closing on 29 March. Developer and publisher, Square Enix, did not elaborate much, except it was “difficult” to continue running the game. Gunslinger Stratos: Reloaded entered Open Beta in August, and it seems there are no plans for an overseas server.
In Gunslinger Stratos: Reloaded, all characters are armed with different ranged weapons. Coined as a MOBA FPS, the action is high-octane, involving mid-air combat and scaling tall skyscrapers, giving the MOBA genre a deeper sense of tactical depth. The game did not launch on PlayStation 4 for a cross-platform experience with the PC version, which seems like a weird decision from Square Enix.
