Prius Online – Korean server shutting down after 5 years of service

Launching back on 23rd October 2008, the Korea server for Prius Online is finally shutting down after a run of over 5 years. Character creation and the cash shop has already stopped functioning, with the closure scheduled on 17th December next month. Thanks to Mitchell for the news.

Developer and publisher, CJ E&M (Netmarble), has followed its competitors in focusing more on churning out mobile games. It is unknown if the previously-teased Prius Online 2 has been canned as well. Prius Online tried to revive in the English market as Arcane Saga, but closed down shortly as well.
