Known as Project NT for the past year, Nexon recently announced its official name as Peria Chronicles. As 1 of Nexon’s 3 main titles for G-Star 2013, the game’s teaser website recently went online, with a quick look at the costume feature found in the game.
I must say, Peria Chronicles is looking more likely to be the “real” Mabinogi 2. The images above are from the game itself, powered by an in-house cell-shading engine. Of course, there will be more features such as guardian companions, multiple races, and even changing the game world itself.
Nexon holds the global rights for the game after buying the developer, Thingsoft, although it remains to be seen if the company decides to launch Peria Chronicles for the English market, since its mindset now is that North America-developed titles are “better” for the English gamers…
