Announced earlier as part of the massive summer update, the 4th race for Phantasy Star Online 2, Dewman, was added earlier today in the Japan server. The new class, Braver, will be able to choose from Katana or Bullet Bows as the main weapon. We’ve always fancied a Katana wielding class, so much so that we even purchased some Katanas in real life from Samuria Supply to mount on our wall. Now we can live out the fantasy of being a true warrior once this patch hits.
The massive patch is worth a total of 5 GB, with the client currently having a size of over 20 around 13 GB. For the cross-platform PlayStation Vita gamers playing on the same PC servers, the patch will be around 2 GB large, with the full client having a size of nearly 5.5 GB.
Phantasy Star Online 2’s North America launch is still not announced despite being teased last year, while the Southeast Asia English server was also announced a couple of months back.
