According to the press release, Molten Games, a new MMORPG developer, has “secured a multi-million dollar investment nest egg from NCSoft.” Located in San Diego, California, Molten Games is founded by veterans from Blizzard, Sony Online Entertainment and a couple of other reputable studios.
While details of the first game is scarce, it will be crafted using Unreal Engine, as seen in the job listing calling out for a Senior Unreal Engineer (Generalist) with experience in Unreal Engine 3 or 4. It will still be some years before the game surfaces, so stay tuned.
