Age of Wushu – Jet Li graces first global PvP tournament

[Register now] The first global PvP tournament for Age of Wushu just ended a couple of days back, with Jet Li as 1 of the VIPs and prize presenters at the event held in China. According to PR, competitors were from North America, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Malaysia.

Jet Li was involved in a rather forgettable commercial promoting the game, but apparently Snail Game’s CEO, Mr Shi Hai (in pink), is in talks with him to film a wuxia movie.

The winner of the tournament (in red robe), after months of advancements, earned himself a cash prize of CNY 1,000,000 (around USD 161,000). With the North America server launching in just a couple of weeks, perhaps the 2014 edition will be a grander affair.
