Blizzard has just officially announced StarCraft II – Wings of Liberty Collector’s Edition, and it will be priced at USD 99.99. After shipping and stuff, I think it will at least set me back SGD 150++. While certainly a princely sum, I just have to write more articles for OnRPG to get more money :p
Do note that for StarCraft II, players MUST be online and log into the new BattleNet even for single player games/ campaigns. And yes, there is no more LAN (Local Area Network) function available. There are rumors and hints that there will be a regular payment option for BattleNet for priority stuff, but let’s wait till there is an official announcement on this one.
